The death of John MATTHEWS, age 42 occurred some time Saturday just across the line in Clinton Co following an illness of leakage of the heart. He was found dead in bed. His wife and 3 children survive. His wife was formerly Miss Nellie Hunter. The 3 children are Ray, Fannie and Wilbur. Deceased was a member of the Red Men's lodge at Kirklin. The funeral service will be held Tuesday morning at 10 and burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirklin. --kbz
